In 1967, Chairman Jacinto T. Uy founded Moldex Products Inc. which became now the leading manufacturer of high quality PolyVinyl Chloride (PVC), PolyButelyn (PB) and PolyEthelene (PE) pipes under the brand names Moldex, Moldflex, Sanimold, Moldcon and Clarex. It received ISO 9000 Certification in May 1998.

In August 1996 (as a result of its diversification into Real Estate), it became what is now known as MOLDEX GROUP OF COMPANIES composed of 7 companies namely: Moldex Products, Inc. (PVC Products), Moldex Realty, Inc. (Houses & Lot/ Lots Only), Moldex Land, Inc. (Condominiums), Moldex Realty Marketing Inc., Moldex Insurance Agency, Inc., Moldex Construction, Inc. and Moldex Ventures, Inc.

At present, Moldex Group of Companies has developed over 20 real estate projects in various locations in Bulacan, Pampanga, Metro Manila, Antipolo, Laguna, Cavite , Tagaytay and Pangasinan under such brand names as Metrogate and Heritage Homes, among others.
